The Essentials

Learning Through Care, Play, and Purpose

Every day, our teachers focus on four key areas of development:

  • Physical growth

  • Social and emotional skills

  • Language development

  • Cognitive (thinking) skills

Through circle time, science, math, phonics, writing, art, music, and dramatic play, children explore the world around them in meaningful, playful ways.

We also nurture kindness, sharing, cooperation, self-expression, and problem-solving—skills that build character and confidence.

At The Watermelon Patch, we’re more than a preschool or daycare — we’re a family.

Programs We Offer

We offer age-appropriate preschool programs designed to meet your child where they are and help them grow at their own pace:
✅ Nursery: 6 weeks – 12 months
✅ K1: 1 year old
✅ K2: 2 years old
✅ K3: 3 years old
✅ K4: 4 years old

Young children learn best through play and exploration. Our classrooms are filled with creativity, laughter, and discovery—laying the foundation for your child’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.

Parent Testimonials

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “ I have to give the credit to the Watermelon Patch. My son is in his 3rd year and is thriving as well. I wouldn’t change a thing about their preschool eduction. This is a premiere preschool. I am so glad we found the Watermelon Patch and that we got a chance to join their family. I will be very sad when my children move on. The owner and the rest of the teachers are amazing. If you get a chance, visit and see what they are all about. You will love them and want to sign your children up for classes.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “WOW! Hands down the best! As a previous preschool worker, I was very particular about where I chose to send my child. Luckily I found everything I was looking for and more at the Watermelon Patch! Teachers and directors who care about your child and their education, a secure environment that leaves a piece of mind while we are away from our sweet babies, constant updates about your babies day, and it doesn’t break the bank! If you have been searching for that perfect place, YOU FOUND IT!”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “My son is in the k3 class and goes three times a week now. We started him in the k2 class twice a week because he was a very shy little boy. He enjoyed it so much that we increased his days and he always has the biggest smile and is ready to tell me about his day every time we pick him up. He has really bonded with his teacher and the teachers there are so loving and patient. I’m very picky when it comes to schooling and the watermelon patch is the best.”
